Rules for getting around in NYC:

Rules for getting around in NYC:

1. Be cool.
2. If someone’s not being cool, you’re not obligated to be cool to them.
3. If someone’s not being cool to you, consider why that might be.
4. It’s cool to realize you haven’t been being cool, and re-base to rule 1.

  1. If I’m running the scrum, the rules are very different:

    1. Be cool.
    2. If someone’s not being cool, be extra cool.
    3. If someone’s not being cool to you, be super-conscientious about getting everyone else in the group to be cool.
    4. If you’re not being cool, and everyone else around you isn’t being cool, and you can’t be cool because it’s a nightmare dealing with these people, it’s time to look for a new group of scrum partners.
