Drunk Governor hassling the police that the unwitting hotel staff called to shut down her rowdy party. Oh, New Mexico. Don’t you ever change.

On a more serious and disturbing note, she pushes over and over for the name of the person that reported them. Had she gotten it, I suspect that poor schmuck would have been in a world of hurt the next day. How very, very petty.

  1. This is a perfect example of why partisanery is a problem. This is an individual behaving badly. You can’t sincerely believe that a whole ideology and everyone in it, sanctioned such behaviour.

Next year a democrat might do something idiotic. What then? All democrats are alike and likely to perpetrate the same idiocy?

As a matter of fact. This blanket labelling, we people try to use and stereotypes, has to stop. It is an insidious seed of hate speech.

  2. Steve S oh, so all republican Governors must get drunk and party in hotel rooms? The fact she is a leading political figure has little to do with her behaviour and that specific bad behaviour or incident has little influence on what being a Republican means. Anyone with power has a good chance of abusing it. Period.

  3. JP Lizotte The fact that she’s a leading political figure who’s out of control and unprofessional is relevant, particularly given the hypocrisy inherent in being a conservative while doing this.
