Nice piece. Being a police officer is a choice to serve (and protect) so there is no room for that kind of behaviour. We have a part of society that tries to tell us that “race” is a non-issue. All men are born equal. But on the other hand we need to acknowledge that we do have issues that regard racial differences. They are as real as social strata and religious beliefs.
