  1. I had to read that twice and I still don’t fully grok it.

    For braniacs you get to shortcut by answering as few questions needed to hit the number, but for those behind the curve, you end up having to answer a lot of questions. Seems powerful for judging, maybe not so much for the actual student. I think it might be much more useful for judging different teaching methods (or different videos teaching the same subject matter at khan academy?).
