I don’t buy the spoiler avoidance excuse. She’s featured in the trailers and is the second biggest head on the official theatrical poster (neither Luke Skywalker nor Darth Vader are on the poster at all).

Most of the “where’s Rey?” problems seem to stem from game/toy makers desperately trying to avoid spoilers.
Still, the outcome is pretty crappy. Hopefully the market gets flooded with Rey goodies asap.
