Yay! They’ve found a cure for white-nose syndrome in bats! For those that didn’t know, it was a very aggressive fungal infection that was destroying the bats’ immune systems and proving to be a serious threat to many species. Since bats are among our greatest allies when it comes to controlling insect pests, finding a cure is a big deal – it’s going to save farmers money and keep us from having to use more pesticides. Win win 🙂
