I notice they conveniently don’t mention that if you store full-size images in Google Photos that comes out of drive quota, and the average user probably has less drive quota on their account than the average Googler…
Mike Knell​ the default behavior is free. The screen where you would select full-resolution images says clearly it counts against your quota, says how much you have left, and links to where you can see pricing and buy more if needed. Do you think this is being hidden from users? I’m sure the photos team would be interested in hearing about any confusion so they can come up with a way to be yet more transparent, and I’d be happy to pass it along.
I did not know about long-pressing the shutter button! TIL.

Vineet Kumar I meant that the fanperson who made the image doesn’t mention that, not that the Photos interface doesn’t.
