All it took to end the slowdown was taking away lunch breaks. Looks like the NYPD is making up for lost ticket volume over the last couple of weeks.

No meals/breaks sucks (and seems like something the police union should ACTUALLY be fighting), but I lack sympathy for the dude putting his advertising stickers on public property or the “off-leash” dog owner in a non “off-leash” park. Assholes. Surrounded by Assholes.

For context, the no mreals/breaks policy was a reaction to the NYPDs unofficial work stoppage. It was instated because they basically stopped doing most of their job, in a fit of pique aimed mostly at De Blasio.
Sticker guy gets no sympathy, I think that stuff is silly, but keep in mind that the “off-leash park” is actually a semi-industrial wasteland in Greenpoint. Much more sympathetic there.

I see. Maybe I just haven’t been following this close enough, I read it as police forced to issue tickets for revenue (bad), but I guess if they weren’t working at all previously, also bad. I’m a little confused who I’m rooting for here.
