My whole take on the thing is that it’s about how people are (mis)labeled and often attribute themselves a label that a larger group would rather disassociate themselves of. (a good example is Muslims vs ISIS)
Second is trying to re-conciliate a persons love or desire for fantasy with ethics (which, in my opinion is a waste of time), the battle of the sexes…, no pun intended and finally and most of all: greed.
It’s a perfect storm of ethical, social and humanities, problem. Not a single illuminated mind will come up with a solution. I like the fact that we are willing to some point to discuss it, but I am also perfectly willing to accept that there’s a long road ahead of us before we sort this one out.
But in truth I think we are deluded in thinking that it is something that can be “fixed” by a simple and single vector approach. We need to change as a society, as humans we all need to grow up and that is no where near being achieved. Our predatory and greedy little souls are far from the maturity required.
Lets face it, as long as some people are willing participants in the sex trade and the fact that we haven’t managed to be “fair” to each other, this whole thing is moot.
Not that it is not worth talking or trying to solve and understand, but lets not be deluded that a simple change of attitude from one protagonist will it solve the issue. But somehow I feel, that is what is expected.
I am following this with great interest.
