I need some information, #hivemind :
I have a very dear friend who has been battling Second-Stage CNS Lymphoma for some time now, and is very near to having no more treatment options. He’s not the type to give up though, and has found the Hope 4 Cancer Institute in Tijuana, Mexico. His family has been trying to dissuade him from going (he’s very weak, paralyzed on his right side, and when tired sometimes loses the train of short-term memory – In short, he’s in no condition to travel), but he’s fairly adamant that he’s done his research and hasn’t heard concerns from anyone but them regarding the legitimacy of this clinic.
I’m hoping that some of you can give me a few pointers to information – either positive or negative, though I suspect you can guess the sort I expect to turn up – on the clinic, the doctor (Dr. Tony Jimenez), or the various treatments they offer: Hyperthermia, Sono-Photo Dynamic Therapy, and the RaphaEL Vaccine. My friend hasn’t lost his analytical abilities, so anything on the efficacy of these techniques up to and including technical journal articles would be very, very helpful.
Er, did you mean “good friend”?

Oh man. I meant “dear” – thank you for pointing that out.

Lots of questions not the least of which are who exactly are the people who are running the clinic. There are no credentials in Dr. Tony’s bio., The other MDs went to a med school in Baja. What is known about it? The treatment successes are measured by what? Sounds like the place is a very nice spa…..
