I was of the opinion that this was of minimal harm, since it’s just a matter of some people feeling better about themselves for helping a cause.
Given the latest news, though, I’m seeing some real harm, in that this politically-compromised charity is crowding out organizations that do real work fighting cancer (and really need the money).
