Ok #hivemind, I have a question on open wireless router firmware. I recently bought a pair of Netgear n600 boxes thinking they were WNDR3700v2, but it turned out they were WNDR3700v3. This is apparently a new enough revision (which included a chipset change to broadcom) that none of the open firmware projects I’ve checked seem to support it yet. I’m wondering if:
1. There’s a good open firmware project that supports this hardware now (in both AP and bridge modes).
2. There’s a project that’s likely to do so soon to which I might be able to contribute testing/coding/etc.
Doesn’t sound like it is supported yet.

The other firmware projects might be more contributable to, but looks like the v3 just dropped a month or so ago and developer’s haven’t had them yet.

My only experience with custom firmware has been dd-wrt. Does it not work for your hardware?

Oops, late to the game apparently.
